I don't think I've ever actually done one of these. So, well, here it is, just about...uh, a decade too late. (Jesus.)

Template stolen from [livejournal.com profile] bewarethesmirk and slightly trimmed, because I got lazy halfway through.

1. Fandoms: I'm currently deep in the throes of Teen Wolf fic and utterly unable to ditch it, heaven knows why. Still loving Suits. Past fandoms, which I still relapse into pretty often: Inception, Star Trek, Merlin, Veronica Mars, Kings, SGA, and Generation Kill. Old fandoms, which I still love but don't really read fic in anymore, include Harry Potter, Avengers, XMFC, and White Collar.

2. OTPs: Kirk/Spock, Dumbledore/Grindelwald, Lily/James, Remus/Sirius, Aziraphale/Crowley, Buffy/Spike, Harvey/Mike, Arthur/Merlin, Logan/Veronica, Neal/Peter/Elizabeth, McKay/Sheppard, Jack/Irina, David/Keith, Juliet/Sawyer.

3. Favorite tv shows: Six Feet Under, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, Suits, Lost, Alias, Veronica Mars, Community, Kings, Jack & Bobby, Game of Thrones? There's more, but nothing major comes to mind at the moment.

4. Favourite fics you ever read Ha. Okay, two per fandom, totally arbitrary choice, just fics I'm most likely to reread:

  • Teen Wolf: Famous Last Words and Calling Home
  • Suits: needs must and 5U175
  • X-Men First Class: A Curious Carriage of Crystal and Cold and Replay
  • Generation Kill: Ray Pearson's Big Gay World and Après moi le deluge
  • Veronica Mars: A Strange New Story Every Time and A Hard Habit to Break
  • Inception: Unexpected Plot Twist and the Steinway!verse
  • Kings: Epilogue and Conflict Resolution
  • White Collar: Always Starts the Same, with a Boy and a Girl and Contractual Obligations: A Love Story in Three Traffic Lights
  • Star Trek Reboot RPF: D: and A Passage That Sings
  • Star Trek Reboot: Graduate Vulcan for Fun and Profit and Only Good for Legends
  • Merlin Drastically Redefining Protocol and We're a Storm in Someone Else's Teacup
  • Harry Potter: Drop Dead Gorgeous! And Sublimation and the Snitch. And, shit, Map of the Problematique. Also, The Death of Narcissa Black. Okay, self, enough.

    5. Favorite kinks/tropes: reluctant lust, infidelity, dubcon, telepathy abuse, excessive UST, D/s, fucked-up power dynamics (teacher, boss, knowledge imbalance, superpowers, age difference, you name it, I'm sold), involuntary arousal, voyeurism, bondage, unwanted soulbond, poly dynamics, intentional misunderstandings, banter, geeky banter, smart characters actually being clever, fake relationships, sarcasm, provoked loss of control, possessiveness, unintentional domesticity.

    6. Fictional character you would most like to marry/sex up/go on adventures with: Oh God, AN ADVENTURE WITH ABED NADIR WOULD BE THE BEST THING EVER. ...Harvey Specter, though. Always a strong contender. *ogles* Marry, though, probably Brenda Chenowith. I'd need some seriously compelling levels of fucked-up-ness to keep me interested in a marriage.

    7. Things you enjoy outside the internet: Roman history, general techiness, movie-watching, West End musicals. Mostly, though: not being overwhelmed by grad school duties and having time to waste online. That used to be nice! I liked that.

    8. Dinosaur you most embody: t-rex!

    9. Historical period you would most like to visit: regal Rome in the mid-600s! Or the early Republic, that would be very cool. Only I would have to build an underground bomb shelter or something to store and preserve all sorts of evidence, though, because just going there would be fucking heartbreaking not to be able to use my knowledge later for lack of evidence. ...*facepalm* Ugh, self.

I'm in Rome! I've been enjoying the city a great deal. It's lovely, even if the number of Ancient Roman buildings destroyed and commandeered by the Catholic Church makes me want to die inside more often than not. It's not anti-Christian animosity, see—it's just, I'm a really fangirly Republican Rome fangirl, and GAH WHY DIAFF UGH.

...Ahem. I've also been to London and Paris recently, and it was awesome! [livejournal.com profile] wendybarrie_ and I met [personal profile] oxymora in Paris, and we'll see her again in Venice this weekend, yay! On the less yay-worthy side of things, we were robbed in the train, and some douche took all our money while we slept. Also, some random perv cornered us in the Paris subway—anyway, not good.

Buuut enough RL babbling! Sayeth [personal profile] afterthree:

By doing this in my own journal instead of in [livejournal.com profile] penny_lane_42's comments I'm probably turning this into a meme, but it's kind of awesome and I think deserving of meme status.

The idea is that we all watch different shows, even when we all watch the same ones. (...) What shows within shows have you watched?

Here's what I've been watching lately, in no particular order:

    - The Oh My God, Neal/Peter/Elizabeth Is So Canon Show.

    - The David Tennant Is Surprisingly Endearing When Babbling Like A Madman Show.

    - The Nathan Fillion Fillions Around For Forty Minutes A Week, Oh And Incidentally Beckett Is Also Very Badass Show.

    - The Needs Moar Misha Collins Show The Spot The Episode Bits That Will Make Fangirls Go Nuts, Kill Things, Die Of Embarrassment, And/Or Write Shittons of Fanfiction Show. (I love this one.)

    - The One Where Matt Bomer Speaks Klingon The One Where Jayne Cobb Is An NSA Agent ...The Brandon Routh Is SO PRETTY Show. Because he iiiiis. ♥ WHERE'S THE FIC, FANDOM.

    - The Most Fucked Up Protagonist In Television Nowadays, Who May Just Be One Of My Favourite Characters Ever Show. Alternatively: The Michael C. Hall Is God, And Also Creepy As Fuck Show.

    - The Ben Linus Is A Magnificent Bastard and wait, what? WTF IS GOING ON? Show, which I just resumed watching last week. I still haven't finished season four, but I plan to soon!

    - The I'm Trying Really Hard To Be A Good Quinto Fangirl And Keep Watching Just For Sylar, But YAWN! Show.

    - The Topher!Victor Show. There were a lot of things I loved about it (The Most Thought-Provoking Premise In A While Show could work, too), but really. Topher!Victor. I mean my God. Enver Gjokaj is a genius.

    - The Barney Stinson Is Awesome, If A Tad Too Repetitive, But That's Mostly Still Somewhat Okay Show. - It's also been the Wow, Robin Scherbatsky Is Such A BAMF Show, but, you know, amen to this fandomsecret. :(

    - The Tried Too Hard To Be Ocean's Eleven And Failed, But That's Okay Because There's Always Hardison, Eliot and Parker To Awesome Things Up Show.

Jack & Bobby was a pretty great TV show that aired in 2004. It only lasted for one season, and it's pretty difficult to find online—it took me weeks to download it via torrent (but if you're in the US, you can watch it on the WB's website for free), so I decided to upload the files so I could pimp it out here.

Jack & Bobby posterFrom Wikipedia: "It featured two brothers, one of whom was destined to become President of the United States, serving from 2041 to 2049. (...) The show followed the lives of teenaged Jack and Bobby McCallister as they went to high school and generally matured. Much conflict was generated between the boys and their mother, Grace, who was both domineering and unreliable. The main storyline was paralleled by a series of interviews with figures associated with the McCallister presidency, who spoke of events from the president's later life."

The series features: Logan Lerman (who plays the titular character in the upcoming Percy Jackson and the Olympians movies, woot! He's adorable!) and the very pretty Matt Long as the two brothers in question; Christine Lahti as their mother; and a supporting cast including Jessica Paré, Bradley Cooper and John Slattery.

I've posted several Yuletide recs here. There are some others in my Delicious, most not yet updated with the authors' names, which were revealed last week.

The two fics I wrote were:

    [Kings] Sacrifice (Jack/David, Michelle/David; 8,034 words)

Summary: "Fear not; for the hand of Saul my father shall not find you; you shall be king over Israel, and I shall be next to you; Saul my father also knows this." (1 Samuel 23:17, RSV)

(Because apparently it's not dorkish enough to have a Bible verse as your summary for a Kings fic—you have to indicate what translation you got it from. Right. Way to go, self.)

[Mr. and Mrs. Smith] A Little Less Conversation (John/Jane; 5,305 words)

Summary: The irony was that Mr. and Mrs. Smith were completely incompatible.

Summary shamelessly, shamelessly sort of stolen from an old fic by [livejournal.com profile] firstlightofeos. With permission, of course. *grins*

I'm off to London with [livejournal.com profile] wendybarrie_ on Monday! Whoo!

Meanwhile, I'm marathoning Stargate Atlantis like a madwoman. (I know, I know, five years too late.) If any of you are in the fandom, would you happen to have any recs? I've read astonishingly few SGA fics—they're what convinced me to watch in the first place—and I'm craving some like you wouldn't believe.

We've had consistent 100F+ weather for the past few days, and I am melting. MELTING. Weather gods, I am so displeased. My computer's overheating so much it's uncomfortable to type. Ugh.

Yuletide sign-ups are now open! I haven't decided which fandoms I'll pick, but go volunteer! Also, UR.org's yearly Christmas Fic Exchange has just opened sign-ups, too. *nudges* How about some HP fic nostalgia, eh? Go join! ♥

Post a list of 10 television shows you watch or have watched. Have your friends list guess your favourite character from each show. When someone guesses your favourite character, bold the title. When guessed, tell us why you like that character.

    Here you go:

    1. Doctor Who
    2. How I Met Your Mother
    3. Six Feet Under
    4. Merlin
    5. Firefly
    6. Buffy
    7. Numb3rs
    8. Chuck
    9. Leverage
    10. True Blood

I'd offer shows like Castle, Alias, Dexter, Dollhouse, Rome, Boston Legal, Gilmore Girls, House, Scrubs, Supernatural, Pushing Daisies, Star Trek (TOS) and Heroes as options, but my favourite characters in each and every one are so obvious (and obviously awesome) that really, it's kind of pointless.

Star Trek XI fic rec: [livejournal.com profile] waldorph's √π233/hy7 series. Don't let the Math-y name scare you off! It starts off with an AU loosely based on the movie Good Will Hunting, in which Jim is dragged to Starfleet Academy after Spock finds out he's a bit of a Maths wiz kid, but it's so much more than that—every one-shot that followed is narrated from the point of view of a different character (Winona, Uhura, Sam, T'Pring, Sulu, Frank, Sarek, etc.), following his or her life in that 'verse. Most of them can be read as stand-alones, if Kirk/Spock isn't your thing. I'm especially fond of the T'Pring one-shot.

Also, I turn 22 today. Yay for getting old! And happy belated birthday to [livejournal.com profile] keshi_t, who is exactly one year and 36 hours older than me :D
    christycorr: Richard Castle (Castle) (*^^*)
All right, so I fail at updating LJ! Damn you, Twitter. I went to a U2 concert in Tampa with [livejournal.com profile] firstlightofeos and [personal profile] lu a couple of weeks ago, and it was brilliant. I went to New York right after that, where I bought far more DVDs and assorted geekeries than I ought to and ate really, really good Chinese takeout. I totally fell in love with the city. ♥ And I bought a new MacBook Pro! It is gorgeous. I've just finished setting her up to my satisfaction today. Her name is River. (After River Tam, obviously, not River Song. And damn you for even considering that possibility, [personal profile] oxymora.)

TV-related rambling ahead! But first, tell me something. [LJ poll]

vague spoilers for Glee, Dollhouse and Merlin )

Three TV shows I'm watching and enjoying—with download links, because everyone knows I'm a pimp at heart:
  • Castle: Nathan Fillion playing the part of a Fillion-y mystery writer who helps solve crimes; what's not to love? I'm enjoying season 2 even more than I did season 1, and I'm happily waiting for my copy of Richard Castle's Heat Wave to arrive. Here's a YouTube promo featuring Fillion being awesome and geeky. Download the Castle pilot in .avi format here.

  • FlashForward: the premise is interesting—the entire world blanked out for 2 minutes and 17 seconds, causing massive casualties, and during that time everyone caught a glimpse of what their lives would be like six months from now. The main character saw himself investigating the blackouts, so he begins investigating; it's all very wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey. Also: there's John Cho! And Jack Davenport! YouTube promo link. Download the FlashForward pilot in .avi format here. (Hulu link.)

  • White Collar: I was excited to see Chuck's Matthew Bomer (Bryce Larkin) in a new show; it just premiered two days ago, and it didn't disappoint. [Incidentally, if you aren't watching Chuck, why the hell aren't you watching Chuck?] Bomer plays a con artist who helps investigate white collar crimes to keep himself out of jail, à la Catch Me If You Can. It's entertaining! Check out the YouTube promo, and download the first episode here in .avi format (or watch on Hulu).

  • I'm also watching, with varying degrees of dedication, enthusiasm and caught-up-ness: Dexter, Fringe, Heroes, How I Met Your Mother, Lie to Me, Numb3rs, Criminal Minds, Stargate: Universe, Supernatural and The Mentalist. I have a terrible case of television ADD—I rarely remember/want to watch shows' new episodes every week—so everything always piles up. *guilty look at Heroes, Criminal Minds and Fringe* *headdesk*

Or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love [livejournal.com profile] reel_merlin.

I suicidally signed up for two [livejournal.com profile] reel_merlin fics in July: Imagine Me & You, and Laws of Attraction. (RM, like many others of its kind, is a comm where people write Merlin AU fic based on movie plots. You sign up for a movie and, in this case, get a two-month deadline.) Due to circumstances quite beyond my control, I found myself being signed up for co-writing a fic with [personal profile] firstlightofeos; after much debate, we settled for Closer. Runi also had a fic of her own to write—Mean Girls. I of course didn't actually start writing much of my fics until, like, two weeks before the deadline (which was September 1st; later, it was extended to September 8th).

In the meantime, Runi and I discussed the Closer fic at length. And by that I mean TO A TRULY RIDICULOUS EXTENT. Seriously. 'Overthinking' doesn't begin to cover it. We watched the movie—I think I watched it, like, three times in the past month—and read (and annotated) the play, and discussed each character thoroughly—their motivations, their personalities, the play/movie's recurring motifs and timeline quirks, the locations, shit, everything. We drafted an outline, picked a structure and what would happen in each scene. I started spouting Closer quotes in all kinds of everyday conversation; I swear, even my brain started monologuing in Closer quotes.

Er. We ended up not writing the Closer fic, and chose to focus on our individual fics.

My creative process, let me show you it. )

And now I'm writing Imagine Me and You. I have no idea whether I'll finish on time—I have four days, which is not much, but it's somewhat doable—but I'll do my damnedest!

So like, if I start spouting flower meanings out of the blue, please don't mind me, really. *grins* These fics have quite clearly eaten my brain.

The following links are some of the many, many reasons why I've been going, "Jesus, I'd kill to be at Comic-Con" for the past couple of days, thanks to Twitter and the (admittedly far too many) geeks Twitter users I happen to follow.

(On the very, very bright side, [livejournal.com profile] firstlightofeos, [livejournal.com profile] moon_dancing, [livejournal.com profile] afterthree, [livejournal.com profile] oxys_kai_moros, [livejournal.com profile] nancy_downs, [livejournal.com profile] inksplotched and I have made plans to attend next year's Comic-Con together, which will be all kinds of brilliant!)

I'm excited for Iron Man 2 and Avatar and Fringe and of course the next two (:D!) Star Trek movies and oh God, watching Comic-Con news from afar is short-circuiting my obsessive brain. There's way too much geekery out there I want to watch. Crap.

Star Trek: SEE 'Make Kirk/Spock Canon' petition. I pretty much fully agree with [livejournal.com profile] sunhawk's thoughts on the matter, so I'll just sit here in my quiet internet corner and headdesk away.

Star Trek: Reboot fic recs of the must-read variety: We Reach Our Apogee Slowly by [livejournal.com profile] kowaiyoukai (Spock/Uhura, Kirk/Spock pre-slash, WIP), You'll Get There in the End (It Just Takes a While) by [livejournal.com profile] seperis (Kirk/Spock), Don't Last Like the Feeling by [livejournal.com profile] anowlinsunshine (Spock/Uhura, Kirk/Spock), Common Bond by [personal profile] florahart (Sarek/Winona). Also, [personal profile] rageprufrock's D: (RPS, Chris/Zach). Yes. I know. It's RPS. Shut up. [For more ST:TOR recs, click here.]

Incidentally, I neglected to make a Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince reaction post, despite my promise to [personal profile] afterthree that I would, so here's the gist of what I would've said: the movie was hilarious; I still don't like Gambon's Dumbledore; I enjoyed a lot of the movie, but the last third of it or so were just plain painful. I wasn't a big fan of the cave scene or Dumbledore's death. This wasn't my favourite movie, but it wasn't the worst of the batch. In a word: meh. EDIT: [livejournal.com profile] cleolinda has said it best in her Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in 15 Minutes, really. Heeee.

When you see this, post five seven unpopular fandom opinions in your journal.

    1. [Doctor Who] I adore Steven Moffat and all his DW episodes (except for the fourth season two-parter, because no amount of fangirlism can get me to appreciate River), so I'm actually curious to see what he'll do with Eleven. I'll miss Tennant like hell, but I'll definitely give the next series a chance.

    2. [Torchwood] I hate Torchwood. I've watched several episodes, and I should like it, really—I love Jack, and James Marsters was in it, even, I should've been all over that, but...no. The team fails, and even Jack fails, and Owen fails, and Gwen fails oh God, so hard, and the plotlines are ridiculous, and they're all amazingly inefficient and terrible at their jobs, and just, what the hell were you high on when you allowed this to happen, RTD?

Harry Potter, Star Trek, Merlin, et al. )

I signed up to write two [livejournal.com profile] reel_merlin fics: Laws of Attraction and Imagine Me & You. *headdesk* I think it's a masochism thing. But hey, I have until September—I may actually finish them, who knows?

Oh, and just because it's being debated everywhere: Michael Jackson died. The rumour outbreak broke the internet—including, but not limited to, LJ, Twitter, E! and CNN. I'm pretty sure [livejournal.com profile] ohnotheydidnt did the LJ-breaking; the comm was inaccessible for a while before the whole site crashed down. Damn, I really wanted to read people's comments on the matter. Way to go, ONTD!

I feel sorry for the bazillion people who bought tickets for his 'This Is It' 2010 tour, anyhow. The man's musical talent was respect-worthy regardless of personal taste, even if his private life was a godawful mess.

In which I ramble about Heroes seasons 1-3 )
I'm officially obsessed. I've been known to watch a bunch of Youtube videos, Google interviews, rewatch DVDs etc. for hours on end whenever I really love an actor/show/movie/whatever, but this Star Trek thing is quickly spinning out of what little control I ever manage to have over my (admittedly far too frequent) obsessions. I love this fandom! It's exciting! And so shiny! Yay lens flare! There's Quinto talking about zeitgeist, Pine's fucking aplomb, and then Urban goes and talks about the Kirk/Spock/McCoy triumvirate and that's it, I'm screwed, and totally, totally hooked.

I never thought I'd be so girly—Jesus, I've been having lengthy discussions with my roommate, [livejournal.com profile] wendybarrie_, on the relative merits of Karl Urban, Chris Pine and Zach Quinto's bloody EYEBROWS. *has clearly lost her mind* I've watched more interviews than I could possibly remember, and I've been following [livejournal.com profile] ontd_startrek posts like a deranged lunatic. (A deranged lunatic who knows way too many GQMF macros, e.g. this and this, for her own good, which may or may not make the whole thing much worse.)

So yes. I'm watching TOS (and loving it!) and reading Trek fic and ogling Pine/Quinto picspams when I should be reading Hourglass Awards fics. *headdesk* Yay. I CHAIN-WATCHED HEROES exclusively because of Sylar (okay, and Eccleston), man, this is a new and alarming low. Next thing you know, I'll be renting The Princess Diaries 2 because of Chris Pine. If I do that, someone please shoot me. Please. I'm begging you.

Speaking of which: [livejournal.com profile] sarahtales's Star Trek parody, which cannot be pimped enough. :D

The new Doctor Who spoilers made me happy. I wasn't all that pleased with the casting news we got a couple of weeks ago, but this makes it much better :D Also, several endings being filmed = awesome DVD extras next year. Yay!

Oh, I got a couple more Dreamwidth invites yesterday. I'm pretty sure everyone who wanted a code already got one, but if not, feel free to let me know, and I'll send it over. Gone now!

Every TV series I watch is now on hiatus—so weird. (Nevertheless: Chuck, Dollhouse, Castle and Lie to Me were renewed! Which made me very, very happy! Alas, Kings won't make it, but I never thought it would.) I will, of course, end up start watching a new show or two, and end up being forced to give up on half of these by the time the next season comes along. Because that's just how I roll. *headdesk*

Also, I think I've officially run out of time on the emailing Hourglass nominees thing. I can't seem to find emails for a bunch of them, and it's driving me nuts.

*sighs* Can any of you give me a hand? I have the list of email-less authors, and maybe they just require some more clicking around. I just—gah.
christycorr: Tenth Doctor (Doctor Who) (This is how I roll.)
I'm a big fan of character-driven fiction. It's not that I think plot is unimportant, but it's secondary—a plot has to be truly dazzling to make me ignore severely underdeveloped characters. (Lord of the Rings anyone?)

So yeah, character-centric > plot-centric. This applies to movies, TV series, books, fanfiction, you name it. I'd take Closer over Catch Me If You Can (and Havemercy over City of Bones, and Dexter over Alias, and Drop Dead Gorgeous over Draco Sinister) any day. Shit, I just fandom-dated myself really badly by mentioning that fic, didn't I.

By 'character-centric,' I don't mean plotless—it's mostly that the plot exists to push along the character development, and not the other way around.

Issues of the Week, BSG, genfic and Dollhouse )

Just to clarify, I don't consider 'plot-driven' an insult or anything. Nevertheless, I do believe bad writers don't try to write character-centric stories nearly as often as they do plot-driven ones (maybe it's easier to settle for the latter, because plot-driven fiction is the norm, and to part with that you need a firmer crafting hand, to have at least some idea of what you're doing? I'm not sure).

...And then Stephenie Meyer comes along with a primarily character-driven universe that has little to no plot or character development for at least 70% of any given book in the series, and I...I don't even know what to do with that.

Anyhow! I've rambled on for long enough. Do any of you guys have a preference? Is this a distinction that matters to you—in published fiction, fanfiction, or TV?

    (Unrelated: Geek pride ftw!)
christycorr: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Canon dom!Remus.)
When I first joined the Harry Potter fandom, I was kind of insanely anti-slash. This certainly had a bit to do with my über-religious upbringing—I just felt like slash didn't belong in Harry Potter. I saw no signs of it in canon; HP was a children's book, really, and any kind of NC-17 fanfiction was just a bit too odd for my liking. Adding gay sex to the mix was just an extra squick.

It's kind of hilarious to look back now.

My (tl;dr) thoughts on yaoi, let me show you them. )

I'm back to Law School! I thought it would be slightly odd to return here after my prolonged holidays, but it wasn't—not at all. I promptly started making lists and schedules, planning the next two years in advance and everything. I decided to leave university minoring in both Greek and Latin Culture and International Politics. I picked a pretty good schedule for myself this semester, with fifteen 2-hour lectures every week. (No one is allowed to have more than thirty hours a week.)

And then I got here today—first day of classes. I was wolfing down a ridiculously bad salad while rushing down a flight of stairs from my second class to the third, and just...stopped. No. I don't want to be driven insane every semester until I finish Law School. I've made peace with being bored out of my mind by most subjects I'll have to study, but I cannot let myself get insanely overworked while I'm at it. I'll take only thirteen lectures. Hmph.

Yesterday I started a Gilmore Girls marathon. I've always thought the show was all right, even though I've never adored it or anything, but I'd only caught random episodes on TV. So I watched season 1 and some of season 2; my opinion remains the same, but I've caught myself speaking and thinking in Lorelai-like logic alarmingly often in the past twenty-four hours. *laughs*

In other news, Breaking Dawn came out last weekend. It was predictably horrible, and I was extremely amused by many Twilighters' hatred of it. It's almost like they came to their senses a little! J. K. Rowling's recently announced The Tales of Beedle the Bard (coming out in December, yay! It's nice to expect a JKR book again!) surpassed the number of Amazon pre-orders for Breaking Dawn within hours, of course. *rolls eyes* And still the media insist on comparing the two. Oy, get some perspective. Stephenie Meyer makes Rowling seem like great literature, and that's saying something.

(Oh, and I'd take 'Albus Severus' over 'Renesmee Carlie' any day. *laughs*)
Spoilers for the House season finale )

Yep, House, you did a great job. Can't wait for season 5.
christycorr: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Canon dom!Remus.)
    It was updated.

I hate [livejournal.com profile] ladyjaida and [livejournal.com profile] dorkorific for doing this, because honestly? I want more. Now. This part was insanely short, and just just two years man and it was SO GOOD but tiny. *wibble* I hope we don't have to wait another two years. *has cravings* This is so not a good sign.

(Though I certainly will wait two years—gladly—if it means we'll get more after that.)

    ...

I love [livejournal.com profile] ladyjaida and [livejournal.com profile] dorkorific. Seriously. This update totally made my week. *grins* Month, even.

Also, my deepest apologies to people to whom I barked and/or threatened with a painful, slow death both IRL and via MSN/AIM. It's nothing personal, guys. I just really didn't want to be bothered while I read this. *laughs*
