January was so academically overwhelming. I handed in several essays, which was...uh, exciting, but most importantly, I submitted a PhD funding proposal, and good God, drafting (and redrafting, and redrafting, and did I mention redrafting) that fucking thing was a ridiculously horrid process. By the time I submitted it, I was almost hating my topic without even having started my PhD. Stiiill, it's all dooone. :D :D :D And I have a couple of lighter weeks now before essays and exams start up again, thank God.

I'm going to the Dublin premiere of Much Ado About Nothing, which Joss will attend! Ridiculously excited for this, I can't even. It almost makes up for the fact that John and Hank Green came to the UK this week and I didn't even realise it until John updated vlogbrothers with a London video. *sob* GOD FUCKING DAMN IT, WHY.

Ahem. Anyway. I've translated so much stuff for the OTW these past few weeks—the Portuguese version of transformativeworks.org is pretty much ready to go, and I'm ridiculously proud of it \o/ My precious.

OTW work in general has been beyond brilliant. Everyone in DevMem, Translation and I&O seems committed to changing things and innovating and just. ♥! *fangirls [personal profile] agnieszkas and [personal profile] juniperphoenix* So, so happy with my fannish endeavours, and life in general is way less stressful now that there are no deadlines looming, and eeee. *collapses in a puddle of slightly-less-busy bliss*

What do you mean John and Hank were in the UK? But that's like 3hours by plane! I could've taken RyanAir and be there in, like, an instant! *sob*

*cuddles you*

Whew, you've been busy!

*sighs* I miss being fannish. One of these days I need to get a fannish project again. Not now, though *sighs*. Too many deadlines for boring reports on instrument development. Also, diapers and nursing and all that.
